Beyond the Classroom
Clubs, competitions, chesed, trips, and student-led programs give every talmid opportunities to participate, contribute, and lead.
Get Involved
A JEC education extends well beyond the formal school day. Students pursue interests, work with peers from across the grades, and take responsibility for programs that add energy and meaning to the school community.
Some activities are competitive, some creative, and some centered on chesed. Together, they give each boy another way to discover his strengths and find his place.
Students test their knowledge, sharpen their thinking, and represent JEC in competitions throughout the year.
Hands-on teams turn ideas into working projects and give students room to build, experiment, and solve problems together.
Students can develop interests that may not fit into a traditional class and share those talents with the school community.
Many activities are student-created or student-led, giving talmidim real responsibility for helping others and strengthening JEC.

Student Initiative
Students write and edit publications, organize chesed, prepare for competitions, build teams, and create new programs with the support of faculty advisors.
